2003 Draft Update

Posted Jul 23, 2003

With Bills 2003 Training camp, for rookies and selected veterans, set to start later this afternoon the team is close to signing all of it's draft choices. More specifically the Bills might sign three of their draft picks from this past April's draft later today.

Those close to signing are 2nd Round selection defensive end Chris Kelsay, 3rd round selection linebacker Angelo Crowell and 4th round selection defensive back Terrence McGee. This would leave only 1st Round pick RB Willis MCGahee as the only draft pick unsigned. Though the Bills appear to be in no rush (pun intended) to sign him. This is because McGahee is still rehabbing from an injury he sustained in the 2002 NCAA Championship game. Not to mentiond it might be difficult for the team to determine the value of a player who could miss the entire 2003 season.
