NY Giants 2013 draft picks: 1st round (19), 2(49), 3(81), 4(116), 5(152), 6 (187), 7 (225, 253)

The Giants have somewhat of a roster makeover. Gone are running back Ahamd Bradshaw, wide receiver Domenik Hixon and tight end Martellus Bennett. New York added wide receiver Louis Murphy and tight end Brandon Myers.

On the other side of the ball the G-Men lost some notable names like defensive end Osi Umenyiora, defensive tackle Chris Canty, linebackers Chase Blackburn and Michael Boley and safety Kenny Phillips. They did sign defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins and Mike Patterson, linebacker Dan Connor, safety Ryan Mundy and cornerback Aaron Ross.

So look for New York to be pretty active in the NFL Draft replenishing their defense and the big guys in the trenches.

Draft Needs
1) Linebacker
With Boley and Blackburn gone look for New York to draft two new linebackers. This is a position where they could pretty much have their pick of the litter with their first selection. Then again, perhaps the Giants wait and address it in rounds two, three or four. There are plenty of quality ‘backers you can find after the initial round of the draft.

2) Offensive Tackle
It wouldn't shock me to see the Giants pull the trigger on an offensive tackle with their first pick. Two players to keep an eye on are Menelik Watson and D.J. Fluker. Fluker could very well be gone. I have had Watson to New York in my last two mock drafts. They could also address this position in the middle of the draft. Guys like Reid Fragel, Brennan Williams, Ricky Wagner and Xavier Nixon should all be around.

3) Defensive End
All of a sudden New York is in the need of at least one defensive end. They could go for a guy like Bjoern Werner early or try and get a guy like Sam Montgomery or Alex Okafor in round two.

4) Cornerback
The Giants are in position in the first round to grab a guy like Desmond Trufant. If they don't see much of a drop off New York could certainly wait to select a corner a little later. It's a deep year, especially after the first few off the board.
