Bills moving camp to Orchard Park

Bills moving camp to Orchard Park

The Bills held their last day at camp at St. John Fisher today. It wasn't just the last day in Pittsford for some as the Turk also paid a visit to the Bills and seven players got cut.

Those players cut were quarterback Jason Johnson, wide receivers Jerel Myers and Paris Jackson, offensive tackle Justin Sands, offensive guard T.J. Watkins, defensive tackle Omari Jordan and kicker Jason Witczak.

In terms of highlights there were a few:
  • Charles Johnson made a nice grab on a Drew Bledsoe pass.
  • Cornerback Marcus Floyd had a big time hit in coverage.
  • The annual rookie "bat spin" drill finished up practice. The drill is one that Gregg Williams gathers all the rookies on the roster together and one by one they must bend over and spin themselves around a bat (making themselves dizzy) and then must grab footballs on the ground and walk with them across the practice field. Rookie Offensive guard Ben Sobieski had some trouble with picking up the football.

Training Camp will continue for about another week but will now take place at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park and will eb closed to the public.
