Lawyer Milloy agrees to terms with Bills

Lawyer Milloy now a Bill

One day after being relased by the New England Patriots, S Lawyer Milloy finds a new team.

That new team being division rival the Buffalo Bills. Lawyer Milloy first joined the NFL as a 2nd round draft selection in 1996 out of the University of Virginia. Since then he hasn't missed an NFL game and has started 106 of 112 games. This includes 4 trips to the Pro Bowl.

Milloy has played Strong Safety for all of his NFL career but was practing at Fre Safety leading up to his release. It's unknown where he'll play in Buffalo but it's believed Free because the Bills have strong feelings about young Strong Safety Coy Wire. Milloy's averaged a little over 76 tackles per season over his career and has collected 19 interceptions and 7 sacks.

Milloy is expected to play against the Patriots this weekend although how much playing time has yet to be determined. It is also known, at this time, whom the Bills will release in order to free up a roster spot to add the veteran Safety. Early speculation is either linebacker Josh Stamer or defensive tackle Lauvale Sape.
