Team doctor's cleared running back Willis McGahee to practice. Although the team doesn't feel he is in playing shape, they will have three weeks to determine whether to place him on the active roster or lose him for the season by placing him on the injury reserve list.
"It finally felt good to be out there with the other players," explained McGahee. "Everybody was happy to see me and I was happy to be out there."
In other injury news, special team's captain and third down running back Sammy Morris also returned the practice field after missing the last four weeks due to a sports hernia injury.
Wide out Eric Moulds who missed last week's loss to the Jets due to a groin injury didn't practice but was seen working out in individual drills and status for this week is still in question.
