Bills' quick in start to find new Head Coach

Rams' Defensive Coordinator among those considered

The Buffalo Bills didn't take long to start comprising a list of candiates they are considering as their new head coach.

Just one day after announcing they won't re-sign former head coach Gregg Williams as head coach the team granted and received permission Tuesday to interview Rams' defensive coordinator Lovie Smith for the position.

Smith started his NFL coaching career in 1996 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Smith had served as the Bucs linebackers coach in 2000 before joining Rams in 2001 as defensive coordinator and assistant head coach.

It's also thought that team president and GM Tom Donahoe also wants to meet with New England's defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel and New's England offensive coordinator Charlie Weis this week

Former Giants' head coach, Jim Fassel is also rumored to be among those that could interview with the Bills as well as Tom Coughlin who last coached the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2002.
