McGee named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Posted Nov 3, 2004

The Bills kickoff returner/cornerback was named the AFC special teams player of the week.

Terrence McGee won the honor because his 87-yard kickoff return for a TD was considered the turning point for their second win of the season against Arizona.

McGee is also tops in the AFC with a 28.0 average per kick return and is the only player in the NFL with two kickoff returns for TDs this season. His other return for a TD came against the New England Patriots in Week 4.

This is McGee's first career Player of the Week Award and the second special teams honor earned by a Bills player in the past three weeks, punter Brian Moorman won the honor in Week 5.
