WR Kahlil Hill named to practice squad

Posted Nov 4, 2004

The Bills added another WR to its practice squad.

Kahlil Hill was first drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the sixth round of the 2002 NFL Draft from the University of Iowa. Hill spent time on the Falcons, Saints, and Lions practice squads in '02. He also had worked out with the San Francisco 49ers this preseason.

Hill's name should be somewhat familiar to Bills fan as he is the son of former Bills All-Pro wide receiver J.D. Hill. The younger Hill ranks second on the Hawkeye's career list with 152 receptions and sixth with 1,892 receiving yards.

To make for Hill the Bills released OL Rodney Reed.
