Bills sign offensive lineman Mike Gandy

To help bolster their offensive line the Buffalo Bills have signed former Chicago Bears Offensive lineman Mike Gandy.

Mike Gandy is the first player the Bills signed since free agency began Wednesday. He's has played both guard and tackle in the league, last season he started 5 games for the Bears at RG compared to 14 games at LT in 2003.

Gandy joined the league as a 3rd Round draft pick out of Notre Dame in 2001. At this point it's unknown whether the The Bills plan to have him start at left tackle to replace Jonas Jennings, who signed with San Francisco on Thursday, or possibly backups Marcus Price who is still an unrestricted free agent. Gandy could even be considered for the starting LG spot.
