Jauron Gets Extension

The Buffalo Bills and Dick Jauron have reached a three-year agreement to keep Jauron as head coach through the 2011 season.

According to ESPN.com, the Buffalo Bills and head coach Dick Jauron have reached an agreement that would extend Jauron's contract for three more years. Details on the contract are still unknown at this time.

Jauron is in his third year has head coach for the Bills, and currently has the team atop the AFC East with a 5-1 record. In his first two seasons, the Bills went 7-9 but still were in playoff contention late into the 2007 season.

Prior to the Bills, Jauron was the defensive coordinator and interim head coach of the Detroit Lions and served as head coach to the Chicago Bears from 1999-2003, where he won Coach of the Year in 2001.
