After an dreadful preseason offensively, the Bills have reportedly fired offensive coordinator Turk Schonert...

After the first-team offense failed to score a touchdown in 15 drives this preseason, the Bills held someone responsible.

The team is expected to fire offensive coordinator Turk Schonert today in a news conference at 1:30 p.m., the Buffalo News reported. This would have been Schonert's second year at the controls.

Quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt is expected to be elevated into Schonert's role, The News reported.

Buffalo's offense plunged badly last year after a 5-1 start, finishing 25th in the league. Throughout the exhibition season, Buffalo failed to generate offense on a numbingly consistent basis.
