As Week 6 of the NFL season approaches, Scout.com's NFL Draft Analyst Chris Steuber looks toward the 2010 NFL Draft, and releases a very early first round mock draft. See who he predicts your favorite team will select next April.

There have been some intriguing storylines throughout the NFL this season; the biggest surprises being that the Denver Broncos are 5 – 0 and the Tennessee Titans are 0 – 5. Another interesting development is that the Cincinnati Bengals are a dark horse contender and lead the AFC North with a 4 – 1 record, while the Carolina Panthers are struggling with a 1 – 3 record in the NFC South after they finished the 2008 season at 12 – 4.

The NFL as a whole is suffering through its worst period of parity. There are currently four teams without a win, the aforementioned Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And another four teams have just one victory: the Panthers, Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions.

With eight teams surrendering their seasons through five games, and with Week 6 of the NFL calendar approaching, it felt like a good time to look ahead to 2010 and project the first round of the April spectacle, the NFL Draft. There are plenty of talented draft eligible players that teams will scout leading up to the draft, and even though there are seniors and underclassmen mentioned in my forecast, it’s nearly impossible to include everyone, because not every top-tier underclassman declares for the draft.

The draft order is based on the teams record heading into Week 6. Most of the teams share the same record and their placement in the first round was decided on a prediction of where they will finish. With that said, the Rams are now on the clock…
