| 2008: Levitre (Luh-Vee-Tree) is one of the best tackles in the nation, according to veteran Beaver offensive line coach Mike Cavanaugh...excellent footwork and speed...enters the season with 22 consecutive starts and 26 overall - the most of any player on offense...has played every position on the line (except center), including tight end...2008 Outland Trophy Watch list, awarded annually to the nation's premier interior lineman...has a good reputation with NFL draft experts. 2007: Started every game at either right or left tackle...Pac-10 Conference second team as selected by the coaches...also Pac-10 second team All-Academic. 2006: Levitre started in game four of the season after senior starter Josh Linehan injured a knee in game three vs. Idaho...a key component for one of the most significant blocks in the program's history on the Yvenson Bernard two-point conversion run to win the Sun Bowl...Levitre earned Pac-10 Honorable Mention as a player and academically...one of the five offensive line starters to earn postseason honors. 2005: Played in all 11 games as a redshirt-freshman and started vs. Oregon...honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic selection. 2004: Redshirt. SAN LORENZO VALLEY: First team All-CIF, first team All-Santa Cruz Coast League and named to the all-region team by the San Jose Mercury News following his senior year...team captain and co-MVP as a senior...had nine pancake blocks in one game as a senior...also competed on the defensive line...San Lorenzo was 13-0 and won the Central Coast Section title in Levitre's junior season...honorable mention all-state and first team all-conference as an offensive lineman as a junior, and second team as a defensive tackle...earned two letters in track throwing the shot put. PERSONAL: Born in Los Gatos, California...son of Gene and Sheri Levitre...his father is an insurance agent and his mother is a purchasing manager...Andy has four brothers: Erick, Travis, Logan and Ryan...Erick was an offensive guard at Arizona...graduated with degrees in finance and sociology in June of 2008 and will be a graduate student for 2008-09.
