2007:
Made a successful transition from linebacker in college to fullback in the NFL. ... Tied for third on the team with 12 special teams tackles in the regular season. Also added five special teams tackles in the postseason. ... Started in 10 games and played but did not start in four games in which the Packers opened with multiple-receiver sets. ... Suffered a hip injury on Dec. 16 at St. Louis and missed the team’s final two games. ... Made eight catches for 49 yards and did not have any rushing attempts. ... Selected with the first of three selections in the sixth round (191st overall) by the Packers on April 29. ... Packers announced that they will convert him from linebacker to fullback.

College

Four-year starter awarded varying degrees of All-Conference honors since his freshman campaign. WAC Defensive Player of the Year as a senior after totaling 105/6.5/3.5 and adding six interceptions. Junior totals included a career-high 106-tackles.

Pos:

Omnipresent college linebacker with marginal size/speed numbers. Remains disciplined with assignments and shows top instincts. Aggressive, plays faster than his 40-time and is constantly around the action, making positive plays. Gets depth on drops, effectively uses his hands to protect himself and quickly alters his angle of attack. Stays with cover assignments and fires up the field in run defense.

Neg:

Undersized and easily blocked at the point of attack. Does not show much suddenness to his game.
