Biography:
Talented short-area pass catcher with good athletic ability...Has the leg drive to gain extra yardage after the catch...Displays solid initial quickness off the snap and is very elusive in the open...Shows good body control and field awareness going for the ball... Fluid in and out of his cuts...Adjusts quickly to the ball in flight...Has the hand flexibility and arm extension to haul in the high passes...Accelerates well on deep routes...Stays with his man during in-line blocking...Moves his feet properly to adjust in space while blocking upfield.

CAREER NOTES

Was a welcomed sight for the Eagles’ passing attack the second half of the 2002 season, overcoming a series of injuries that sidelined him throughout most of his career…Sat out 27 games due to injuries since enrolling at EWU…Still managed to haul in 58 passes for 721 yards 912.4 avg) and seven touchdowns in 28 contests.

2002 SEASON

Earned All-Big Sky Conference first-team honors, despite missing the team’s first four games…In eight contests, he grabbed a career-high 27 passes for 249 yards (9.2 avg) and four touchdowns.
Arizona State, Montana Tech and Western Oregon…Did not play in the first four games while recovering from his 2001 wrist injury.
Idaho State…Returned to the gridiron with a 55-yard touchdown catch.
Portland State…Snatched a career-high 9 passes for 81 yards.
Northern Arizona…Followed with 6 receptions for 27 yards, including 8 & 7-yard scores.
Montana State…Gained 27 yards on 5 catches with a 5-yard touchdown.
Montana…Closed out his career by fumbling the ball, but caught 3 passes for 47 yards.

2001 SEASON

Started the season opener vs. Connecticut, but suffered a broken bone near his left wrist after making an 8-yard catch…Missed the rest of the schedule after a bone infection set in, requiring multiple surgeries to correct.

2000 SEASON

Granted a medical redshirt…Missed spring drills with a hamstring pull and then suffered a knee ligament tear that would sideline him for the season.

1999 SEASON

All-Big Sky Conference honorable mention…Played in eleven games, starting seven contests at tight end and the Idaho State clash at split end…Caught 16 passes for 244 yards (15.3 avg) and two touchdowns. Northern Arizona…Made 4 catches for 79 yards and a 30-yard touchdown. Sacramento State…Had a 47-yard scoring grab on a fourth down play.

1998 SEASON

Started five of eight games he played in at tight end…Finished with 14 receptions for 220 yards (15.7 avg) and a touchdown. Western Washington…Suffered a knee sprain that would sideline him for the Idaho State, Montana and Sacramento State contests. Weber State…Hauled in 6 passes for 117 yards and a 39-yard score.

1997 SEASON

Did not attend college…Enrolled at Eastern Washington in January, 1998.

Attended Anacortes (Wash.) High…All-State pick, adding “red Chip” honors from the Seattle Times…All-Northwest League choice as a wide receiver…
