Terrell Maze Profile
Scout.com has confirmed that the Buffalo Bills will workout former San Diego State cornerback Terrell Maze on Thursday, June 18th.
Maze, 25, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Baltimore Ravens following the 2007 NFL Draft, but was released prior to the 2007 season. After being released, Maze signed with the Los Angeles Avengers of the Arena Football League and played the 2008 season with the Avengers.
The AFL decided to cancel the 2009 season, due to economic reasons, but it's expected to return in 2010.
The 6-foot, 175-pound Maze had a solid career at San Diego State. He finished his four-year stay with the Aztecs recording 136 tackles, four interceptions and 20 passes defended.
The Bills have a crowded secondary after selecting three defensive backs (Jairus Byrd, Cary Harris and Ellis Lankster) in the ’09 draft and it appears that Maze is a long shot to be signed. But, he could be a candidate for the team’s practice squad if he has an impressive showing on Thursday.
