Eric Wood Profile
The Bills finally can begin the retooling along the offensive line. First-round pick Eric Wood signed a reported five-year contract with Buffalo Wednesday worth up to $13 million.
Wood was acquired with the 28th overall pick obtained in the Jason Peters trade. He is expected to compete for a starting spot immediately at right guard. Earlier this week, the team inked second-round pick, Andy Levitre, who is expected to compete at left guard.
Both were drafted to address Buffalo's problems against 3-4 defenses. Further, the team signed center Geoff Hangartner in free agency.
Aaron Maybin and Jairus Byrd are the only rookies still unsigned. Stay tuned to BuffaloFootballReport.com for updates.
