Defensive tackle Derrick Jones signed with Buffalo Thursday.

Jones has played the last three years with the Tennessee Titans. He was released by the club on July 30.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pound end from Grand Valley State was originally signed as an undrafted rookie by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jones was with Buffalo during training camp last year before being released. Most likely, he was brought in again due to Aaron Maybin's contract holdout. The Bills needed another body at end. It may be difficult for Jones to latch onto a roster spot when Maybin signs.

Buffalo waived DT David Lindquist to make room for Jones.
